Go Maroons EXTRA: We preview Chicago-Wheaton

It’s finally here: Chicago vs. Wheaton. Two top national programs settling it all on Stagg Field, right here in Chicago.

Emerald and I will have the game call Tuesday afternoon at 4 p.m., but we first wanted to set up the history and tactical matchups that will play into tomorrow. One correction to the audio file: At the time, we hadn’t been aware that Laura Karsten, Wheaton’s stopper and midfield anchor, was hurt early in the season. It’s certainly a big loss for the Thunder, and we are anxious to see how that might change Wheaton’s look, if at all.

As a preview of this Go Maroons EXTRA podcast, here are three of the battles we will be watching:
